Orr Sinay

A musician, contrabass player and composer, freelance artist and music teacher and improvisation freer. Graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance (2014), MA at CalArts School in Los Angeles (2017), Teaching Certificate at Tel Aviv University (2018). Researches and teaches the area of ​​free improvisation alongside new music and electro-acoustic projects. Performs with the “Nova Music” Ensemble starting in 2018, winning the Siday Fellowship for Music Creativity twice in a row (2015,2016)

מוסיקאית, נגנית קונטרבס ומלחינה, יוצרת עצמאית ומורה למוסיקה ולאלתור חפשי. סיימה לימודי תואר ראשון באקדמיה למוסיקה ומחול בירושליים (2014), לימודי תואר שני בבית הספר CalArts שבלוס אנג’לס (2017), לימודי תעודת הוראה באוניברסיטת תל אביב (2018). חוקרת ומלמדת את תחום האלתור החפשי לצד פרויקטים של מוסיקה חדשה ופרויקטים אלקטרואקוסטיים. מופיעה עם אנסמבל “מוסיקה נובה” החל משנת 2018, זוכת מילגת סידאי ל Music creativity פעמיים ברציפות (2015,2016)
